Never held a fly rod? Perfect. Our school takes you from zero to fishing real Lapland water in three days. Day one is casting practice on land - no pressure, no tangles in the trees, just technique. Days two and three you put it to work on the river with your guide beside you. It's just you and the guide, or bring a friend and share the water.

The guided fly fishing season at Lapla runs from 01 May to 30 September. Early summer brings the midnight sun and 24-hour daylight on the rivers; September is the peak of the grayling season.

Grayling - the lady of the stream and the pride of our rivers (May - October, peak September), wild Brown Trout up to trophy size (May - 15 September), Northern Pike on big streamers, and Rainbow Trout - records here run up to 12 kg.

Fly packages start at per person for 3 days of guided fishing with 4 nights at the lodge.
